The one question that has been on everyone’s mind since Taylor Swift confirmed that she was engaged to Travis Kelce is ‘Who is invited to the wedding?’ While there have been rumours and reports around a lot of famed names, Maise Peters is setting the record straight on her involvement with the ‘Opalite’ singer’s upcoming wedding plans. The musician last opened for Taylor Swift and toured alongside her during her ‘Eras’ tour. In a recent interview, Peters cleverly clarified whether she is on the guest list or not.
Maise Peters clarifies if she’ll attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding
When Peters recently attended the ‘Zach Sang Show’, she was asked the big burning question about whether she would be attending the wedding of the year or not. However, Peter clarified that as of right now, she has yet to receive her ‘customized’ invitation. Further clarifying on the matter, she added, “I’ve not received a sourdough loaf or a wedding invite. I think that’s OK.”She further joked about the situation, and even blamed her obsessive rant on Hillary Duff that she shared with Swift, which may be the very reason for her not being invited. She joked, “I don’t think it’s coming. Obviously, I’m a huge fan, and maybe one day I’ll get to try her sourdough. Lifelong goal. Good to have dreams.”She further talked about her experience going on tour with the singer and performing at Wembley Stadium for the ‘Eras’ tour on August 19, 2024. Peters revealed that at the time, she had gone out and bought some presents for the ‘Life of a Showgirl’ singer. “I actually went [to the Brick Lane market] to buy Taylor some presents before I did the show. I got her some books and a little tote bag.”For the unversed, Swift has, along with many of her close friends and family members talked about her baking skills, and how she often creates gift baskets for her loved ones in order to share the baked goods with them. Following Selena Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco, the singer had made sure to custom-bake sourdough bread for the newlywed couple at the time. Gomez had even shared glimpses of the gift, which had a note that adorably read, “It’s a loaf story.”
