'Bravo my Elizabeth': ‘Toxic’ director Geetu Mohandas praises Huma Qureshi’s ‘Baby Do Die Do’; actress reponds with ‘I’m crying reading this’

Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi was recently seen on the big screen in her crime thriller, ‘Baby Do Die Do,’ which was released on July 3. After receiving positive responses from fans and other filmmakers, ‘Toxic’ director Geetu Mohandas shared her thoughts after watching the movie.

Geetu Mohandas praised Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Rachit Singh and the entire team in her social media post. She shared a picture with Huma and wrote, “I just watched Baby Do Die Do!! and this isn’t a review …just what it felt like to sit there surrounded by a story built by people I know… a sister and brother who bet on each other, a partner who delivered exactly what I always knew he had in him. I wasn’t watching strangers succeed. I was watching people I care about become exactly who I always knew they’d become.

Speaking about the film, ‘Baby Do Die Do’ is the first film made under Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem’s production house, Saleem Siblings. In the film, Huma plays the role of a deaf and mute assassin named Baby Karmarkar.

Huma Qureshi’s next film

Meanwhile, she will be next seen in ‘Toxic’ playing the character Elizabeth alongside Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in important roles. The film will be released on August 26, 2026.
