Pawan Kalyan mourns Bharathiraja’s demise; calls filmmaker an ‘Irreplaceable loss’ to Indian cinema

Tollywood star and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan paid tribute to the legendary filmmaker Bharathiraja, who passed away in Chennai on Wednesday. Sharing his condolences on social media, he called his demise “an irreplaceable loss to the Indian film industry.”

Pawan Kalyan expresses deep grief

Pawan Kalyan’s message on his X (formerly Twitter) handle read, “The passing of the renowned legendary film director and Padma Shri awardee Shri Bharathiraja garu is an irreplaceable loss to the Indian film industry.”He further talked about the late filmmaker whose work touched audience acorss multiple languages as he added, “With his extraordinary films, he not only won the hearts of Tamil cinema audiences but also those of Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada language viewers. Having received 6 National Awards, he left his unique imprint on the Indian film scene.”

Pawan Kalyan talks about Bharathiraja’s film with Chiranjeevi

In his message, Pawan Kalyan especially remembered Bharathiraja’s devotional film ‘Aaraadhana’, which featured his brother and Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi, and Seethakoka Chiluka, which won a National Award. He said these films remain etched in the hearts of audiences even today.According to Pawan Kalyan, Bharathiraja will always be remembered for beautifully portraying rural life, emotions, and human relationships on screen. “Losing such a great creative director is an irreplaceable loss to the Indian film industry. A legendary figure of Tamil cinema

Bharathiraja was one of the pioneers of Tamil cinema who won six National Awards during his long and successful career, in which he directed 44 films. Apart from directing, he was also a talented actor and appeared in several successful films.Bharathiraja passed away at the age of 84 after battling health issues for some time.
