WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will declare the WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 on May 8, 2026. Nearly 9.71 lakh students who appeared for the Class 10 board examination across the state are waiting for the online release of scorecards. The board conducted the examination from February 2 to February 12 at more than 2,600 centres across West Bengal.Students will be able to access their marks through the official websites as well as the Times of India result portal after the result link becomes active. Candidates can download the provisional marksheet by entering their roll number and date of birth. DigiLocker and SMS facilities will also be available for students facing heavy online traffic during the result declaration period.Steps to check result on TOI portalStudents can check the WBBSE Class 10 Madhyamik Result 2026 on the TOI portal by following a few simple steps. Candidates need to visit the result page and enter the required login details carefully before submitting the information.Step 1: Open the TOI Education result portal for WBBSE Class 10 results.Step 2: Enter the roll number in the required field.Step 3: Enter the date of birth in DDMMYY format.Step 4: Click on the submit button to access the result.After submission, the marksheet will appear on the screen. Students can download and save a copy for future reference until schools distribute the original marksheets and certificates.Details mentioned on marksheetThe online marksheet will contain the student’s name, roll number, registration number, subject-wise marks, grades, total marks obtained and qualifying status. Students have been advised to verify all details carefully after downloading the scorecard.To pass the Madhyamik examination, candidates must secure at least 34 per cent overall marks, equivalent to 272 marks out of 800, along with separate passing marks in each subject. Students who fail in a limited number of subjects may later appear for compartment examinations conducted by the board.Last year, the overall pass percentage stood at 86.56 per cent, while the board had announced the results on May 2. In 2024, the pass percentage was recorded at 83.61 per cent. Schools are expected to begin distributing certificates shortly after the online declaration of results.
